Job Overview

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. As a Sales Representative, you'll engage with customers to promote our products and services, contributing to our mission of keeping communities connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Sell products and services to customers in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling units (MDU) areas/properties with 20+ doors through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events.
• Customer Experience: Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Sales Goals: Meet established monthly sales objectives and increase sales volume and penetration using assigned leads and property portfolio.
• Revenue Growth: Generate incremental revenue by adding new/additional services for existing customers.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer problems and complaints following company policies, ensuring issues are satisfactorily resolved.
• Market Intelligence: Maintain knowledge of competitors’ activities within your territory and inform management of pricing or marketing changes.
• Team Participation: Attend sales meetings and training programs actively.
• Documentation: Complete all sales-related paperwork accurately, including sales orders, dispositions, and reports, adhering to quality standards.
• Financial Procedures: Collect funds, provide receipts, and adhere to company guidelines.

Qualifications

Required

• Legal Work Authorization: Ability to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Sales Skills: Knowledge of cold calling, persuasion, and clear communication.
• Travel: Ability to travel to assigned territories and facilities using a reliable personal vehicle, even during inclement weather.
• Outdoor Work: Willingness to work outside for extended periods in any season or weather conditions.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems, consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers), and relevant software applications.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 0 to 6 months in sales or customer service.

Preferred

• Technological Expertise: Knowledge of communications technologies, data networking, and cable or telecommunications services.
• Customer Education: Experience educating consumers about products/services.
• Sales Experience: Success in prospecting, cold calling, or direct sales (1+ years preferred).

Working Conditions

• Spend approximately 80% of time outdoors, potentially exposed to various weather conditions.
• Lift 10-20 pounds over distances of 20-30 feet (e.g., digital boxes).
• Moderate noise exposure.
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and split days off as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary ranges from $33,200 to $66,000. The actual offer will consider your skills, experience, and location. Additionally, positions may be eligible for incentive-based compensation, including bonuses and commissions, with a target earnings starting at $65,000. 😊
