Role Overview

The In Vitro Diagnostics Sales Area Manager – Center Italy is responsible for developing new customer relationships and strengthening existing ones within the Central Italy region. Focused on leveraging your industry knowledge, influencing skills, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) connections, you will introduce profitable initiatives to expand our IVD business. 📈

This position is fully remote, reports to the National Sales Manager, and is part of our dynamic Italian IVD Sales Team.

What You'll Do

  • Drive sales growth: Increase regional sales in alignment with company policies and values.
  • Market analysis: Monitor trends and identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Sales targets: Define, pursue, and achieve sales goals while tracking KPIs.
  • Strategic planning: Develop business plans to enhance sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Customer management: Manage and expand your customer portfolio and foster strong relationships through regular visits.
  • Team support: Support and train the sales network to boost performance.
  • Negotiations: Lead and manage complex negotiation processes.
  • Collaborative sales cycle: Engage with Tender & Sales Administration, Marketing, Lab Solutions, and Customer Care teams.
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on performance, forecasts, and activities.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or CTF.
  • Minimum of five years' experience selling IVD laboratory instruments or in a similar domain.
  • Strong understanding of complex tenders in public and private sectors.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
  • Excellent PC skills, experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com.
  • Willingness to travel to hospitals and laboratories across the region.
