Your Role and Responsibilities
The In Vitro Diagnostics Sales Area Manager for Center Italy will focus on building new customer relationships and strengthening existing ones within the region. You will leverage your industry knowledge, influence skills, and connections with Key Opinion Leaders to develop profitable initiatives and expand our IVD business in Central Italy.
This fully remote role reports to the National Sales Manager and is part of our outstanding Italian IVD Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and grow sales in the region while adhering to company policies and values.
- Analyze market trends to identify and expand commercial opportunities.
- Set and achieve sales targets, monitoring KPIs and results.
- Develop business plans and strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability based on market analysis.
- Manage and develop the customer portfolio within the assigned geographic area.
- Conduct regular visits to customers and KOLs to strengthen business relationships.
- Coordinate, support, and train the sales network.
- Handle complex negotiations with clients and partners.
- Participate in the full sales cycle, collaborating with departments such as Tender & Sales Administration, Marketing, Lab Solutions, and Customer Care.
- Prepare reports on performance, forecasts, and activities periodically.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or CTF.
- Minimum of five years of sales experience in IVD laboratory instruments or a related field.
- Deep understanding of complex tenders in both public and private sectors.
- Fluent in Italian and excellent in English.
- Strong PC skills with experience in CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
- Willingness to travel to visit hospitals and laboratories across the region.
