Position Overview
The In Vitro Diagnostics Sales Area Manager - Center Italy for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for cultivating new customer relationships and strengthening existing ones.
Focusing on the Central Italy region, the role leverages industry knowledge, influence, and connections with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to develop and execute profitable initiatives that expand our IVD business.
This position is part of our outstanding Italian IVD Sales Team, reports to the National Sales Manager, and is fully remote.

What You Will Do
- Drive and grow sales in the region in full compliance with company policies and values.
- Analyze market trends to identify and expand commercial opportunities.
- Define and achieve sales targets, monitoring KPIs and results.
- Develop business plans and strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability based on market analysis.
- Manage and develop the customer portfolio within the assigned geographic area.
- Conduct regular customer and KOL visits to strengthen relationships.
- Coordinate, support, and train the sales network.
- Manage complex negotiations effectively.
- Participate in the full sales cycle, collaborating with teams such as Tender & Sales Administration, Marketing, Lab Solutions, and Customer Care.
- Prepare periodic reports on performance, forecasts, and activities.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or CTF.
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales of IVD laboratory instruments or related fields.
- Solid understanding of complex tenders in both public and private sectors.
- Fluent in Italian and excellent in English.
- Strong PC skills and experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
- Willingness to travel to hospitals and laboratories across the region.
