Join Our Team as a Sales Manager in Italy 🇮🇹

Embark on a dynamic role that directly impacts revenue growth through the promotion and sale of AIG insurance, services, and products across Italy, with a focus on building strong partnerships and expanding market presence.

🌟 How You Will Create an Impact

This role primarily involves field activities such as visiting partners and engaging with clients throughout Italy to manage and grow the assigned portfolio. You will also host training sessions to deepen product knowledge and support sales initiatives.

📝 Key Responsibilities

Marketing, Targeting & Clustering

  • Sell AIG insurance, services, and products, focusing on customer prospecting, research, solution development, proposal creation, presentation, and deal closing.
  • Identify potential customers, develop tailored sales strategies, and nurture new and existing account relationships.
  • Expand relationships with agents and brokers, identifying opportunities for growth or reassessment based on their profitability.
  • Generate innovative sales ideas to maximize opportunities while maintaining performance targets.

Intermediaries Relationship & Servicing

  • Collaborate with departments such as underwriting, claims, marketing, and customer service to ensure alignment with company standards and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in sales projects and initiatives, supporting account performance and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular meetings with brokers to assess account potential and explore growth avenues.
  • Organize training courses as needed to enhance partner capabilities.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track performance metrics like loss ratio, cash flow, and commercial results.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all client visits and activities for performance analysis and future planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry for quarterly reviews.

🎯 Role Performance Distribution

  • 50% — Drive sales through prospecting, solutions development, proposal pitching, and onboarding of new accounts.
  • 30% — Coordinate with internal departments to meet or exceed company and client goals, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • 20% — Foster strong partnerships, review account performance, and support account training and improvements.

🔎 What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and financial analysis.
  • High school diploma or university degree.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or related services.
  • Proficiency in English and fluency in Italian.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work independently.
  • Specific experience in intermediaries management.
  • Goal-oriented mindset that drives results.
