Job Opening: Sales Manager/Engineer / Account Manager (Remote, North Carolina)

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and ambitious professional to join our team in this full-time, remote role. 🌟

This position provides the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients, solving technical challenges, and driving sales growth across North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned region while nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and report findings to optimize sales strategies.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, aiming to meet or surpass sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Service to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot product issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Support marketing efforts by organizing and participating in trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Visit customer sites regularly to strengthen relationships, resolve technical challenges, and present solutions.
  • Coordinate with product teams for technical requirements and proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations tailored to customer specifications.
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently during sales processes, liaising with relevant departments.
  • Report sales progress and challenges regularly to supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Strong self-motivation with a proactive approach and excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; basic Mandarin Chinese skills.
  • Willingness to travel within North Carolina (~25%) for business needs.
  • Experience using CRM systems, creating reports, and making presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours occasionally.
  • Experience managing cross-departmental workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 2-10 years of relevant sales or technical experience in machine tools or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Over 3 years of sales experience with laser or CNC machines.
  • Experience working in multinational, cross-cultural environments.

Location & Compensation

This fully remote role requires regular travel to customer sites across North Carolina and potential relocation if outside the state. 📍

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Beyond base salary, performance-based commissions and bonuses can significantly increase total earnings. 💰
