Current Opening: Sales Manager / Engineer / Account Manager 🎯
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Manager/Engineer or Account Manager to join our remote team in North Carolina. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working from home, engaging with clients, solving technical challenges, and driving sales growth.

- Proficiency in English (writing and speaking); basic Mandarin Chinese skills
- Ability to manage relationships with new and existing clients effectively
- Comfortable working collaboratively across time zones and teams
- Ability to travel within North Carolina (~25% of the time)
- Experience with CRM systems, reports, and presentations
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 2-10 years in sales or technical roles in manufacturing or machine tools
- Adaptable, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
Responsibilities 🔧
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in designated regions
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients
- Analyze market trends and report insights to management
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, exceeding targets
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Service teams to meet customer needs
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions
- Assist with organizing and attending trade shows, conferences, and promotional events
- Visit customer sites regularly to strengthen relationships and resolve technical challenges
- Coordinate with Product teams to align on technical specifications for equipment and proposals
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs
- Ensure smooth administrative processes during sales cycles
- Report sales progress and challenges to supervisors regularly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Preferences 📝
Basic Qualifications
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; basic Mandarin Chinese skills
- Willing to travel overnight (~25%) within North Carolina
- Proficient with CRM systems and reporting tools
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across time zones
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields
- 2-10 years of sales or technical experience in machine tools or manufacturing
- Capable of managing pressure and ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Business/Marketing, or related disciplines
- 3+ years’ experience selling laser cutting or CNC machines
- Experience working in multicultural, multinational companies
Location & Compensation 💼
This is a fully remote role, with the expectation of frequent travel to customer sites within North Carolina. Relocation assistance is provided if located outside the state.
Compensation Details:
- Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
- Eligible for commissions and bonuses based on sales performance
- Total compensation can significantly exceed the base salary, aligned with individual and company success
