The Role

We are looking for dynamic Sales Development Reps to expand Watershed’s reach within Germany and Central Europe. As climate initiatives accelerate, your goal will be to engage large companies in their climate programs, excite them about Watershed, and help shape our sales strategy. This role is ideal for someone fluent in English and German.

You Will

  • Open Doors: Use data-driven prospecting to build a pipeline across key customer segments and establish Watershed’s brand in new markets.
  • Inspire Action: Persuade prospects of the importance of climate action and demonstrate how Watershed empowers their efforts.
  • Communicate Like an Expert: Delight prospects with your knowledge of climate issues and Watershed’s solutions.
  • Take Extreme Ownership: Proactively identify inefficiencies and leverage tools for speedy prospecting.
  • Become a Climate Expert: Educate companies on carbon reduction targets, clean energy, carbon removal, and decarbonization strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 1-2 years in sales or sales development with a history of exceeding goals.
  • Customer Focus: Known for making outstanding first impressions and leaving customers rave reviews.
  • Adaptability: Flexible, resilient, and always eager to improve systems, processes, and content.
  • Team Spirit: Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and enthusiasm for rapid growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Note: Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (remote options available with specific roles).

Office Locations & Work Expectations

Our hubs are in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City, with satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Employees in these locations are expected to work onsite 4 days a week. Certain roles are remote and will be indicated on the job postings.

Interview Process

The process begins with 1-2 conversations to get to know the team, discuss Watershed, your experience, and interests. Next steps typically include a role-specific skill or experience interview—such as a coding or portfolio review—followed by a virtual or in-person panel interview.
