The Sales Associate at Center Communities of Brookline operates within Hebrew SeniorLife’s Property Management team under the guidance of the Director of Occupancy & Compliance. This role involves managing daily leasing operations, guiding prospective residents through the application and move-in process, and fostering positive relationships with residents and their families. The position is pivotal in supporting elders to thrive independently and actively in their community.
📝 Position Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for implementing CCB’s Tenant Selection Plan, managing waiting lists, responding to rental inquiries, conducting tours, and ensuring compliance with HUD, federal, state, and local regulations, including fair housing laws. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with various departments to create a welcoming and efficient leasing experience and supporting the residents of CCB.

🎯 Position Responsibilities
- 🤝 Collaborate with property management to maintain occupancy rates above 97%
- 🍽️ Promote available services such as dining, medical, and private care to enhance resident experience and support revenue goals
- 📲 Handle rental inquiries, respond promptly, and conduct engaging tours for prospective residents and families
- 📂 Maintain contact records in CRM and Yardi software, tracking tours, follow-ups, and feedback
- 🔄 Nurture leads, aiming to convert prospects or analyze feedback to improve offerings
- 🗣️ Advocate for other HSL services when appropriate (e.g., memory health support)
- 💬 Educate potential residents and families on housing options and rates
- 📄 Ensure lease documentation is accurately passed to operations
- 🤝 Coordinate pre-admission and move-in processes for a seamless transition
- 🏢 Collaborate on unit turnovers to maximize occupancy and revenue
- 🌐 Represent CCB at local community events to foster relationships and generate referrals
- 📝 Regularly review and update marketing materials for compliance and effectiveness
- 🎥 Support marketing efforts by creating content and reviewing collateral materials
- 🤝 Participate in operational meetings with various teams to ensure alignment
- 📢 Share updates during quarterly meetings and support organization-wide marketing initiatives
- 🎉 Assist with after-hours resident events as needed

🎓 Qualifications
- 🎓 College degree or minimum of 3 years leasing experience
- 🤝 Proven skills in relationship building and customer service
- 🗣️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 💻 Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Yardi or similar software preferred
- ⏱️ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- 🌸 Patience and empathy traits essential to working with seniors
- 🏥 Prior experience in senior care or subsidized housing is a plus
- 🕑 Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
