🔹 Job Description

  • Strategic Partnerships: Partner with the VP, peers, brokers, and distributor networks to develop and execute sales strategies targeting the U.S. grocery store channel, including National and Regional Retail Accounts.
  • Broker Network Management: Manage and motivate the broker network by engaging with all levels of broker personnel.
  • Sales & Revenue Goals: Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales targets, maximizing profitability. Contribute to preparing the annual departmental operating budget, marketing plan, and business plan.
  • Sales Activities: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, develop new accounts, maintain existing relationships, and implement sales strategies outlined by the sales manager.
  • Distribution & Promotion: Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans aligned with company guidelines, managing forecasts, profitability, and trade spend targets.
  • Customer Relationships: Build credible relationships with customers and channels through meetings, site visits, and ongoing engagement to meet sales projections.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting: Assist in generating monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze market and sales trends. Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, ensuring sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with R&D, Production, Quality, and other departments to foster product development and improve quality based on customer and consumer feedback.
  • Trend & Product Development: Update R&D teams on food trends to create new SKUs and enhance existing recipes.
  • Product Quality Feedback: Participate in sensory tastings, providing instant feedback on product quality.
  • Industry Presence: Represent the company at nationwide food shows to explore new business opportunities.
  • Executive Collaboration: Collaborate with the CEO to implement innovative sales initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned.

🔸 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ sales experience in the food industry
  • Experience managing food brokers preferred
  • Familiarity with sales cycles for various customer types such as retailers, wholesalers, and food service providers; experience in mainstream markets is a plus
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally within the assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, and related tools
