We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in Carlstadt, NJ. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and have experience in the Asian food industry, we want to hear from you!

💼 Salary Range

$47,400 - $68,300 (US Dollars) annually

📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer and potential customer facilities to provide information and support, helping to secure and maintain business.
  • Establish, develop, and nurture business, social, and civic relationships within the assigned territory to maximize profitability.
  • Sell products directly to customers in your designated area.
  • Anticipate customer needs, craft suitable solutions, and deliver top-tier customer service to grow business.
  • Implement sales plans and execute price adjustments as directed by management.
  • Communicate sales plans, product and service opportunities, and gather feedback through field activities.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
  • Assist in setting sales objectives in collaboration with the (Deputy) Area Team Managers or (Assistant) Sales Managers.
  • Work with operations and logistics teams to meet sales goals.
  • Provide regular reports on field activities to aid business and product planning.
  • Submit sales activity reports and other documentation as required.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese or Korean and English is essential.
  • High School Degree / GED required.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with related products and services.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with word processing software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license necessary.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with teams and clients.

  • Ability to verify, draft, and update databases efficiently and accurately.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations.
  • Willing to learn and operate Oracle ERP software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under varying workloads.
  • Adaptability to fluctuating workloads, multitasking, and progressing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outgoing, courteous, genuine, and approachable demeanor.
