Position Overview
Position: Sales Account Manager (Bilingual English/Japanese)
Located in Vancouver, Washington, this role involves developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and representing SEH America in industry events, all while utilizing your bilingual skills to connect with diverse clients.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create sales plans and budgets for existing and prospective accounts.
- Sales & Market Planning: Contribute to corporate forecasting, product lifecycle planning, and market opportunity assessments.
- Market Analysis: Research competitors and industry trends to refine sales approaches and identify new customer relationships.
- Represent the Company: Attend industry promotional meetings and events to promote SEH America.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and communications related to pricing, orders, and delivery schedules.
- Technical Presentations: Deliver product demonstrations and technical information tailored toward engineers and management teams.
- Pricing & Negotiation: Prepare quotes and negotiate customer contracts in line with company procedures.
- Customer Solutions: Assess customer needs and design innovative solutions using technical product knowledge.
- Coordination & Support: Oversee engineering development, manage quality concerns, and support customer education on SEH-A products.
- Resource Management: Coordinate SEH resources across US and overseas sites to meet customer needs.
- Compliance & Policies: Follow all safety, quality, employment, and site policies.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- Business-level Japanese communication skills (verbal and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor engineering, quality assurance, or customer-facing roles within silicon wafer processing.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
- In-depth technical knowledge of silicon wafer manufacturing and semiconductor segments.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Understanding of customer culture, customs, and business practices in relevant regions.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, customer-focused environment.
- A professional demeanor and positive attitude with colleagues and clients.
- Valid passport for international travel.
🌍 Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working internationally or with global companies.
- Knowledge of Silicon Material Characterization tools (SEM, SIMS, GOI, XRT, C-V, SRP, DLTS, TEM, etc.).
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and procedures. You should be comfortable working on a computer for extended periods, with frequent sitting, occasional walking, and stair climbing.
