What We’re Looking For… 🔍

• Ambitious and outgoing individuals eager to build a successful outside sales career in freight forwarding logistics.
• Ability to build relationships through cold calling and confidently present our shipping services during face-to-face meetings.
• Recent graduates or candidates with 1-5 years experience in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Chinese, or Hebrew is a plus.

• Base salary + uncapped commission

Position Duties & Responsibilities 📋

• Generate new business through cold calling, averaging 40 calls per day
• Build and maintain a customer base by identifying freight forwarding opportunities
• Collaborate with internal experts to become knowledgeable about all OEC Group products and services
• Present solutions related to ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage
• Meet monthly sales quotas set by management
• Use Sugar (CRM) to track client information, sales pipeline, and KPIs
• Review quotes with the sales support team to ensure client satisfaction
• Meet with current and prospective clients within your designated territory
• Maintain communication with other departments and overseas offices
• Monitor international market trends and conditions

Work Schedule 🕒

New York Office: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST

Computer Skills & Qualifications 💻

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable transportation is required

Education & Experience 🎓

• Outside sales or operations experience in freight forwarding
• Bachelor’s degree in International Transportation, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)

Salary & Compensation 💰

Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience and education.

• Uncapped commission
• $500 monthly car allowance
