At Integrated Scaffolding Concepts, established in 2015, we proudly offer top-tier services in the rental, lease, and sale of commercial and industrial scaffolding. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives and ensure a secure working environment across all projects.
Job Summary
The Safety Manager plays a crucial leadership role by onboarding, training, and developing Safety Team members. Collaborating closely with field teams, project managers, and executive leadership, this position ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, local safety standards, and company policies. Expect to conduct site audits, safety inspections, and investigate workplace incidents regularly, with frequent travel to project sites to uphold a high safety standard across all operations.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in construction safety standards, proactive in fostering a safety-focused culture, and comfortable working in fast-paced, diverse project environments.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Coaching & Training 🏗️
- Lead onboarding, training, and performance management for new Safety Team members.
- Oversee safety reporting, project site visits, and field audits for junior staff.
- Act as Safety Director when required, including review and approval of timesheets.
- Supervise administrative personnel within the Safety Department.
Safety Audits & Inspections 🔎
- Regularly inspect job sites to identify hazards and recommend corrections.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and company safety standards.
- Document findings and communicate results effectively to leadership teams.
Accident Investigation 🚑
- Investigate incidents thoroughly, gather evidence, and complete documentation.
- Coordinate with HR and leadership on medical or corrective actions.
- Implement preventive measures and support injured employees’ recovery.
Policies & Programs 📋
- Enforce safety regulations and PPE compliance.
- Maintain accurate safety records, OSHA logs, and audit documentation.
- Support project teams in integrating safety into planning and execution phases.
- Oversee emergency response preparedness and onsite safety training.
Safety Instruction 🎓
- Deliver safety and regulatory training for new hires and field staff.
- Train and certify equipment operators; monitor performance for compliance.
- Maintain safety credentials and stay updated on safety standards.
Required Qualifications ✅
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, with field or project experience preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification is mandatory; CSP, CHST, or similar credentials are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and related safety regulations.
- Proven experience in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects in dynamic environments.
Physical Requirements 💪
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat, climb, and conduct inspections regularly.
- Frequent travel to various job sites and meetings.
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work effectively with specialized safety gear.
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in person, via phone, and online/video calls.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
