We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to support our expanding operations across Ohio and Georgia, with a bilingual proficiency in Korean.

About the Role

As a Safety Manager, you will oversee safety management in a manufacturing environment, reporting directly to the leader of the Smart Factory teams. You will hold full responsibility for ensuring a safe and compliant workplace at your location.

Job Summary

The Safety Manager will administer and implement health and safety programs to ensure legal compliance and promote a safe, healthy work environment. This role includes performing complex safety assignments, managing schedules, directing professional teams and contractors, and supporting the development of environmental health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage daily safety initiatives and oversee compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assist with developing site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Implement safety plans, protocols, and procedures.
• Coordinate safety metrics collection and analysis throughout the year.
• Lead incident investigations ensuring thorough root cause analysis.
• Gather data, establish facts, and report safety incidents to corporate, recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation related to safety incidents and generate safety alerts.
• Develop hazard mitigation strategies and oversee safety audits.
• Monitor and maintain Safety Management System programs to comply with all regulations.
• Ensure implementation of safe work practices on site and evaluate hazards collaboratively.
• Coordinate safety training sessions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA certification is a plus.
• 4–5 years of experience in health and safety management, ideally in manufacturing or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HSE systems, KPIs, tools, statistical methods, and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and produce sustainable results.
• Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
