What We Look For In a Russian Tutor 🌟

• Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of Russian language fundamentals, including Cyrillic alphabet, noun declensions across six cases, verb conjugation with aspect pairs, adjective agreement, pronunciation rules, vocabulary development, and Russian cultural literacy. Ability to explain genitive, dative, and instrumental cases, perfective and imperfective aspects, and verbs of motion—preparing students for academic or professional proficiency.

Capable of guiding students through noun and adjective declensions, correct verb aspect selection, constructing complex sentences, and reading Russian texts—emphasizing communication practice and cultural context.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Russian language curricula and common challenges such as mastering case declensions, verbal aspects, and Cyrillic fluency. Uses case charts, aspect drills, and authentic Russian texts/media to support learners from beginners through advanced levels, including TORFL exam preparation.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Able to identify student struggles, explain concepts through multiple approaches, and tailor instruction to individual learning styles and needs.
