Position Overview

Job Title: Russian Operational Language Analyst 2

Location: Ft. Meade, MD

Position Description

You will support national security objectives by utilizing your foreign language expertise to research, translate, transcribe, gist, report, and analyze foreign intelligence. Use your cryptologic language analysis skills to process audio and graphic materials, providing key target insights to decision-makers in support of SIGINT operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Either:
  • 4 years of full-time experience and an Associate degree
  • Or 6 years of full-time experience without a degree.
• ILR Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic.
• 4 years performing crypto language processing (see below).
• At least 2 of the 4 years in:
  • Translating, transcribing, or gisting as primary duty.
• No more than 1 of 4 years reporting as primary duty.
• Within the last 4 years, 2 years of experience must be documented in your resume.

Crypto Experience Includes:

• Scanning and recovering EEIs (Essential Elements of Information)
• Gisting, translating/transcribing
• Compiling working aids and databases
