Job Description

We are seeking skilled interpreters to provide on-site and remote consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services across the five boroughs of NYC. If you're a proactive professional with a passion for helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do

• Deliver accurate and reliable interpretation services in various settings across NYC
• Manage a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
• Travel within NYC to meet with clients and provide interpretation services
• Communicate effectively with service providers and community members

Who You Are

• Reside within the NYC area and are a self-starter
• Possess excellent language skills in English and Russian
• Able to collaborate professionally to serve the community

Position Details

This is a part-time, hourly role designed to support the NYC Department of Education (DoE) with vital language services. 📚🗣️

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Russian
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Willingness to travel to all five boroughs of NYC
• For remote work: Access to reliable Internet, a quiet workspace, and a computer or phone
• Ability to pass a background check
