About the Role 🎯

We are seeking a Human Language Technology (HLT) Specialist with proficiency in Russian to support mission-focused efforts. While the position is designated as HLT, it is linguist-centric, requiring strong language capabilities paired with technical competence in data analysis and modern tools. The ideal candidate will be both linguistically talented and technologically proficient to work effectively with data and analytical platforms.

Key Responsibilities 🚀

• Leverage Russian language skills for analysis, translation, and interpretation
• Process, analyze, and manage data to support mission goals
• Utilize technical tools and platforms to organize and interpret large datasets
• Apply emerging technologies, including machine learning, AI, and LLMs, to enhance workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce actionable insights
• Maintain precision and meticulousness in all linguistic and analytical tasks

Basic Qualifications ✅

• Proficiency in Russian language with at least 2+ ILR (or equivalent) levels
• Experience or demonstrated ability in translation, analysis, or similar language work
• Strong technical aptitude with familiarity in data management tools and systems
• Knowledge of IT concepts and data handling practices

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or large language models (LLMs)
• Background in data analysis, data management, or related technical domains
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
• Experience supporting government or mission-critical environments

What You Bring 🎓

• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred; sponsorship for upgrades is available
• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master's with 6–10 years of related experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree)
• Experience within the Intelligence Community and operational environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online research tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and target language
