Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming phone calls, including booking itineraries and responding to customer inquiries
  • Resolve complex customer issues efficiently and professionally
  • Manage requests in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Assist all customers, including those with disabilities, following United guidelines
  • Apply customer service and sales techniques to meet customer needs with empathy
  • Maintain performance metrics to support productivity goals
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service consistently
  • Maintain an ergonomic and organized work station
  • Respond to passenger questions and utilize training resources to resolve issues
  • This role is 100% onsite at our Customer Contact Center located in (Location)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 🚧

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Hebrew (spoken and written)
  • Computer literacy, including accurate keyboard skills and familiarity with airline reservation/ticketing software
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, call center, or related fields (preferred)
  • Ability to work any shift within a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortably work at a computer for extended periods while communicating with customers
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Successful interview completion required
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential
  • Adherence to United’s policies, including Working Together Guidelines, Reservations Handbook, and Drug & Alcohol Policy
  • Able to pass a 10-year security background check

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

  • 2+ years of contact center and customer service experience
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Airport operations, baggage handling, or customer solutions experience

Compensation & Employment Details 💵

The starting rate for this role is $21.14 per hour.

This position is bonus eligible through profit sharing.
