About This Role 🌍
Wells Fargo is seeking a dedicated Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking & Lending division. Interested in growth opportunities? Learn more about career areas and divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Support multiple branch locations by covering banker or teller absences within a specific geography
- Adapt to changing priorities and environments to meet customer needs
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive relationship-building and proposing suitable products, services, and digital solutions
- Assist customers with account openings, service requests, and credit applications
- Follow directions from managers, exercising judgment within policies and procedures
- Develop knowledge of bank products and services to connect with customer needs
- Engage with customers to demonstrate care and foster relationships
- Present appropriate financial options and refer customers to specialists as needed
- This SAFE position involves customer contact, including offering or negotiating terms for dwelling-secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations
Required & Desired Qualifications 🎯
Required:
- 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education
Desired:
- Experience in retail branch banking (6+ months)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Customer service skills handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Proactive outreach via phone or email
- Knowledge of digital banking and ability to connect customers to technology
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally
- Compliance awareness and fraud risk identification skills
- Military experience in personnel benefits, leadership, or operational roles
- Proficiency in sourcing and fostering customer and colleague relationships
- Support in resolving concerns or escalations effectively
Job Expectations 🚀
- Willingness to travel 100% within your district
- Passing the required language assessment
- Commute to assigned locations (mileage reimbursement available)
- Availability to work most Saturdays
- Maintain cash handling and balancing responsibilities
- Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Must complete SAFE registration upon employment start; Wells Fargo will initiate this process

Compensation & Application Timeline 💰
- Pay Range: This role includes a 10% pay differential
