Join AFAR as Our Revenue Operations Manager 🚀

AFAR is seeking a dedicated Revenue Operations Manager to drive the next phase of growth in travel media. If you thrive at the intersection of data, process, and sales strategy—and love optimizing workflows for smarter, faster results—this role is for you. You'll support our Sales team with essential tools, systems, and insights to boost revenue, reporting directly to the VP of Publisher.

What You’ll Do

  • Own our CRM (Boostr) 🛠️

    Maintain data integrity, lead audits, improve hygiene, and automate workflows to keep our CRM clean, accurate, and effective.

  • Segment and Prioritize Accounts 🎯

    Help sales focus on high-value opportunities by leveraging data and logical prioritization strategies.

  • Optimize the Sales Pipeline 🚀

    Support weekly reviews, enhance forecasting accuracy, and facilitate deal progression with improved stage management and streamlined sales processes.

  • Build Smart Reporting 📊

    Create dashboards and reports to deliver clear visibility for Sales and Finance teams, enabling goal achievement and informed decision-making.

  • Streamline Sales Operations ⚙️

    Document sales processes, identify friction points, and implement automation such as lead routing or renewal triggers.

  • Partner on Playbooks and Enablement 📖

    Collaborate with Marketing to develop messaging, templates, and tools that empower our sellers to close confidently.

  • Lead Strategic Projects 🌍

    From building a nationwide DMO database to designing territory plans, you’ll turn ambitious ideas into tangible results.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or CRM Administration (media, advertising, or digital publishing experience preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems (Boostr a plus), pipeline forecasting, reporting tools (Excel, Looker, Google Sheets), and sales enablement practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a bias for action, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
  • Experience in account segmentation, territory planning, and marketing-to-sales funnel design is highly desirable.

Bonus Projects You’ll Help Lead

  • Segmenting 500+ sales accounts into usable priority tiers.
  • Creating a universal database of endemic travel accounts to grow advertising revenue.
  • Building a lead nurture strategy for accounts not yet in the pipeline.
  • Supporting smarter territory planning and vertical-specific outreach strategies.

Compensation

$80,000 - $100,000 annually 💰
Depending on experience
