What You'll Do as a Retail Sales Specialist
- Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals
- Identify sales opportunities and provide product support and education for ideal customer interactions
- Build positive relationships through effective listening, overcoming objections, and reselling the value of our products
- Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards
- Create a welcoming store environment, ensure cleanliness, communicate effectively, adhere to policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs
Working Conditions 🏢
- Flexible schedule required
- Regular attendance needed
- Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs. and prolonged standing
- Moderately noisy retail environment with adherence to Spectrum's dress code
Required Qualifications ✅
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions
- Comfort with personal technology, mobile devices, video platforms, and computer applications
- Basic math skills
- Excellent English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change
- Experience in goal- and incentive-based environments
- Strong performance in fast-paced team settings
- Effective communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Interpersonal skills for building organizational partnerships
- Self-motivated with a competitive spirit and a desire to exceed sales goals
- Positive, professional demeanor with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual: Mandarin

- 1-5 years sales or customer service experience
- 1-3 years telecommunications/wireless experience

Legal & Compensation Details
Your criminal history, if any, will be considered in accordance with applicable laws and local ordinances.
The typical base pay ranges from $18.00 to $31.75, with actual offers contingent on skills, experience, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for bonuses and other incentive-based pay, with a commission earnings target starting at $7,300.
