Job Title: Retail Sales & Operations Coordinator (Bilingual: English & French)

Based in Ottawa, IL, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of customer experience, sales, and operational excellence — directly supporting the Vice President to ensure smooth showroom, warehouse, and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Facing Sales (Retail & Online) 🛍️

• Engage with customers both in-store and online, guiding them to select the perfect electric bike
• Demonstrate product features confidently and clearly communicate value
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue

Operations & Inventory Coordination 📦

• Oversee inventory management across retail and warehouse locations
• Track product flow, manage incoming stock, and maintain accurate records
• Ensure store presentation standards are met to optimize merchandising and customer traffic

Team & Supplier Collaboration 🤝

• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and follow up with team members to ensure productivity
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to streamline daily operations
• Assist with onboarding and training team members on product knowledge and procedures

Executive Support 🎯

• Support the Vice President with operational planning, execution, and reporting
• Contribute to daily decision-making and performance monitoring

What We’re Looking For 🔍

• Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
• Experience in retail sales with a customer-first mindset
• Background in retail operations or store/warehouse management
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator with leadership potential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and quick learner of new systems
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to move between retail and warehouse locations as needed
• A passion for cycling, sustainability, and innovative technology
