Xi'an Famous Foods, a renowned NYC-based restaurant group specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine, is seeking a dedicated Operations Coordinator to manage and support our multiple locations in a fully in-person role.

Responsibilities 🌟

• Manage daily operations: Collaborate with Store Managers and staff to ensure smooth restaurant functioning, coordinating with the Operations team, HR, IT, and Central Kitchen.
• Support staff: Provide guidance, assistance, and shift coverage, especially in resolving scheduling and personnel issues promptly.
• Conduct store visits: Perform regular store audits and remotely observe operations to maintain quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling: Aid managers in preparing weekly store schedules.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports related to store operations upon request.
• Implement improvements: Research and adopt new practices and technologies to enhance store operations.
• Cross-departmental support: Assist other departments with general tasks as needed.

Requirements ✅

Basic Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proactive problem-solver with initiative; capable of identifying issues and implementing solutions independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and project management tools such as Monday.
• Typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
• Available for full-time work (minimum 40 hours/week) with flexibility for all shifts (day, night, weekdays, Saturdays).
• Willing and able to work in our restaurants across all roles, including front of house and kitchen, during initial training and ongoing support.
• Capable of working efficiently under pressure and multitasking effectively.
• Clear and concise communicator.
• Fast and efficient in task execution.
• Willing to support various aspects of business operations.

Position-Specific Requirements 🎯

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (Chinese).
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in restaurant management within the food/hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project tracking tools.

Additional Information 📋

• Job Type: Full-time, Contract
• Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
• Work Location: In person at our restaurant locations
