Job Description

As a Security Officer at Nation Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Your duties will include creating a secure and welcoming environment through vigilant patrols and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and facilities at all times
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor surveillance systems
• Inspect buildings, access points, and equipment
• Manage access control and respond promptly to alarms or incidents
• Investigate suspicious activity and enforce company policies
• Handle incidents professionally and document irregularities
• Assist with traffic management and access control as needed
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Monitor building systems and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Comply with all safety procedures, legal regulations, and company policies
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs for security equipment

Requirements

• Valid Florida Class D Security License (mandatory)
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (mandatory)
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
• Proficient with computers and capable of detailed report writing
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Smartphone required for communication and reporting
