🌟 Job Overview
As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating programs, assessing resident needs, and collaborating with community resources to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate on-site programs focused on healthcare, life skills, wellness, and resident engagement.
- Conduct individual assessments to identify needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Assist residents in accessing essential services:
- Housekeeping 🧹
- Meal programs 🍽️
- Transportation 🚗
- Financial assistance 💰
- Legal aid and other community resources
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of resident interactions, service plans, and follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, HUD regulations, and relevant policies.
- Collaborate with property management and external agencies to deliver excellent support to residents.
🎓 Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in social services, ideally within senior housing or residential settings.
- Languages: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (required).
🌟 Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in service coordination, particularly following models like National Church Residences.
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs:
- Project-Based Section 8
- LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
- Compassionate interpersonal skills to support a diverse senior community.
- Attention to detail in documentation, compliance, and case management.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Working knowledge of:
- OneSite property management software (preferred)
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable transportation to and from the property 🚗
