Position Overview

We are looking for passionate linguists who share our commitment to serving the community by providing exceptional language services to a broader LEP (Limited English Proficiency) population in the US.

Current Opportunity: Virtual English <> Hindi Translators

Accent on Languages, based in the Bay Area, is seeking linguists for virtual translation and editing assignments. Our current contract involves translating and editing materials for the upcoming elections.

Desired Qualifications

• Permanent US Resident or US Citizen (Required)
• Experience in Translation and/or Editing
• Any certifications are a plus!
• Active voting member in good standing of the American Translators Association
• And/or a current member in good standing of the American Association of Language Specialists
• And/or a certified and registered interpreter on the Judicial Council Master List
• Possession of a degree in Translation or Interpretation
