Remote Customer Support: Inbound Messages - Japanese 🇯🇵 at ModSquad
About the Role
ModSquad has partnered with a leading music streaming service to seek experienced Customer Support Representatives. In this fully remote position, you'll assist customers through inbound messages in Japanese, helping create memorable experiences for each individual. Please be aware that language proficiency assessments in both Japanese and English are required for qualification.
Work Schedule & Hours
- Orientation (8 weeks):
- Phase 1: 4 weeks, 4 AM – 1 PM (Pacific Time)
- Phase 2: 4 weeks, self-scheduled between 7 AM – 10 PM (Pacific Time)
- Production Hours: Daily from 7 AM – 10 PM (Pacific Time)
- Project Commitments:
- 25 hours per week
- 8 hours required on Saturday and/or Sunday
- Duration: 90 days (as needed by ModSquad)

Who Are You?
- You have a strong desire to craft unique and positive experiences for each customer. 🌟
- Providing exceptional Customer Support excites you, and you're quick to identify customer issues.
- You have prior experience handling inbound web message support.
- You can support 3-5 customers simultaneously through web messaging.
- You are all about professionalism and are proficient in both Japanese and English at a business level.
Workspace Requirements
- A dedicated laptop or desktop with Windows 10 or later.
- Willingness to install ModSquad security software and a 2FA app on your mobile device.
- Access to a webcam or smartphone capable of taking photos.
- Stable broadband internet connection of 25 Mbps or higher.
- At least 8 GB RAM.
- Dual monitors are highly recommended for efficiency.
