Position Overview
We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatments remotely via telemedicine to patients of our Community Health Center partners across the United States. Our approach is centered on treating patients where they are and guiding them toward recovery and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- 🩺 Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for mental health and substance use disorders across all ages.
- 💊 Manage psychopharmacological treatments for various psychiatric conditions.
- 🎯 Be Data Waivered or willing to obtain this to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for OUD during active withdrawal or recovery.
- 🧠 Supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
- 🤝 Demonstrate proficiency in care coordination between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical integration.
- 📝 Support scheduled and walk-in patients with ongoing documentation and treatment plans.
- 🌎 Coordinate care that includes psychological testing, medical referrals, social services, housing, and peer supports.
- 🤝 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care providers, pediatricians, OB/GYN, counseling, and peer support staff.
Qualifications
- 🎓 Active and unrestricted Medical License in your state of primary residence and New York
- 🩺 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (Required)
- 💼 DEA License for substance use disorder treatment
- 🌐 Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
- 🙌 Patient-first mindset
- 💻 Comfortable working fully remote
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This is a fully remote role but may require occasional in-person attendance. Candidates should be prepared for:

Position Details
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm EST or Tuesday–Friday, 8am–6pm EST
Salary: $145,000 – $155,000 (based in NY) + Monthly bonus
