Vital Research Is Hiring A Remote Bilingual Field Interviewer
Vital Research, in partnership with various PACE programs, is seeking enthusiastic Contracted Field Interviewers to independently conduct survey projects aimed at enhancing participant satisfaction and community services.
Project Overview 📝
Our PACE projects focus on gathering insights on critical topics such as:
- Access to essential services
- Communication with providers
- Choice and quality of services
- Medical transportation
- Personal safety
- Community inclusion and empowerment
Project Details 📅
- Training: Mandatory virtual training begins mid-July
- Duration: From Mid-July to November or until all interviews are completed
- Commitment: Conduct interviews Monday–Saturday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time

Responsibilities 🎤
As an Interviewer, you'll conduct remote semi-structured interviews via phone with older adults from diverse backgrounds, gathering valuable feedback on their experiences.
- Organize and manage your interview schedule independently
- Conduct empathetic interviews in a comfortable, unbiased manner
- Track call dispositions and access participant information through online platforms
- Record outcomes, resolve discrepancies, and submit findings
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal HIPAA regulations and data security standards
- Communicate regularly with Vital Research for updates and support
Qualifications ✅
- Fluent bilingual in English and Vietnamese (reading, writing, speaking)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Proficient in Zoom and other web-based platforms
- Sensitive to working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport
- Own a personal computer and a secure Wi-Fi connection
- Well-organized with attention to detail
Desired Qualifications 🌟
- Previous experience in research fieldwork, especially interviewing or observational roles
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, group homes, or day centers
- Energetic, resilient, sales-minded individuals
- Interest in professional development for future social research or graduate studies
Compensation 💵
- $25/hour during training
- $15/hour when conducting 0-1 interviews
- $11.50 per interview when conducting 2 or more interviews per hour
Payments for interviews cover all work hours, travel time, mileage, and supplies upon task completion.
