Get It - Educational Services Is Hiring A Remote Bilingual Behavior Specialist | WFH

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Behavior Specialist to join our remote team. In this impactful role, you will significantly contribute to the development and well-being of children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including Special Education Teachers and Behavior Analysts, you will implement tailored education and behavior intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct support by implementing evidence-based ABA programs, including behavior skills training (BST) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) techniques.
  • Conduct accurate data collection and analysis to monitor and report student progress to the team.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of students while providing direct care and implementing therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system for students.
  • Participate in community engagement activities, accompanying students on outings and vocational placements as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and respond to challenging behaviors with patience and understanding.
  • Collaborative mindset to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis.
