Your Role: Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) 🤝

As a trusted partner to our clients and their employees, you will guide them through every stage of their relocation journey. From coordinating moves and ensuring a seamless transition to managing logistical details with a white-glove touch, you'll provide high-touch support to help them feel at home in their new city.

Work Location & Schedule

This primarily remote role (60-70%), with the remaining 30-40% dedicated to in-person client support throughout the city. You will manage your schedule within our flexible policies, ensuring availability for clients when needed.

How You’ll Do It…

• Build strong relationships: Understand the needs, preferences, and concerns of relocating employees.
• Provide expert guidance: Share insights on neighborhoods, transportation, and local culture.
• Conduct research: Explore housing, schools, rental trends, commute times, and neighborhood suitability based on client preferences.
• Assist with essential services: DMV registration, banking setup, and other logistical needs.
• Create personalized recommendations: Suggest social, cultural, and lifestyle activities such as restaurants, events, and fitness centers.
• Gather and deliver information: Use local expertise, proprietary software, and G Suite to produce tailored reports.
• Lead area tours: Conduct in person or virtual neighborhood tours to showcase housing options and amenities.
• Maintain ongoing communication: Keep in touch via phone, email, video calls, or meetings to address questions and updates.
• Serve as primary point of contact: Manage the entire relocation journey, liaising with clients, partners, and vendors for a smooth process.
• Manage multiple relocations: Stay organized, detail-oriented, and proactive across various stages.
• Handle administrative tasks: Update records, document interactions, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications & Skills 💼

Required Experience & Skills

• Legal right to work in the United States
• At least 5 years of residency in the South Bay area, with extensive local knowledge
• Effective communication and collaboration with senior executives and high-profile clients
• Own a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Availability to dedicate at least 20 hours per week, including weekends
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience with personal relocation or moving assistance is a plus

Education & Technology

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or equivalent) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and CRM systems
• Reliable laptop, smartphone, and internet connection

Language Skills

• Ability to interpret contracts, safety rules, and procedures
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Korean, German, Hebrew, etc.) are a bonus

Compensation & Equal Opportunity
