Job Responsibilities
- Put clients first: Exceed expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service in a welcoming environment. 🤝
- Manage client relationships: Proactively meet with assigned clients in person and over the phone to understand their financial needs and tailor product recommendations.
- Build trust through communication: Use clear, polite, consultative dialogue—ask questions, listen, and anticipate client needs.
- Educate on technology: Connect clients to solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs—helping them bank whenever, wherever, and however they prefer.
- Stay knowledgeable: Quickly learn products, services, and procedures to effectively consult clients and connect them with our team of experts for specialized needs.
- Ensure compliance: Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements diligently.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience: 1+ year in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in acquiring and deepening client relationships.
- Customer focus: Ability to create memorable, positive experiences for clients and elevate their satisfaction.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal communication, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor product features to diverse client needs.
- Problem-solving: Quick, detailed resolution of client issues to ensure consistent service quality.
- Compliance mindset: Ability to operate within risk parameters and meet regulatory obligations, including completing all required training.
- Educational requirements: High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Licensing: Must obtain and maintain required licenses such as Securities Industry Essential (SIE), FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if needed), and Life licenses—training provided if unlicensed.
- Availability: Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
- Language skills: Bilingual in English and Russian is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- College degree or military equivalent.
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
Important Regulatory Information
This role may require meeting the qualifications under the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on background checks, credit reports, and regulatory compliance. Certain felony convictions within the last seven years disqualify applicants. Additionally, employment is contingent upon registration with the NMLS under the SAFE Act of 2008, with ongoing compliance required.
