Your Role as a Relationship Banker
As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will embody our brand and culture by providing hospitable, friendly service combined with the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology. Your leadership in acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships will be instrumental in helping clients meet their financial goals while contributing to branch success.
Key Responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service in a welcoming environment 😊.
- Manage assigned clients by proactively meeting with them, both in person and over the phone, to understand their financial needs and provide tailored product and service recommendations.
- Build trust through clear, polite, and consultative communication—ask questions, listen carefully, and anticipate client needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs for convenient banking whenever, wherever, and however they prefer.
- Learn products and services quickly to effectively advise clients on banking solutions and collaborate with our team of experts for specialized financial needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and security.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in client acquisition & relationship deepening.
- Ability to create memorable experiences that elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor features and benefits to diverse client needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to resolve client issues and ensure consistency.
- Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet compliance obligations, including completing required training.
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Mandatory licensing: Securities Industry Essential (SIE), FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. Unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses within 180 days of hire through JPMorgan Chase’s licensing program (study materials provided).
- Ability to work flexible branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- Bilingual English and Russian proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- College degree or military experience.
- Experience following banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.

This role is subject to the requirements of the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act. Employment offers are contingent upon review of your criminal history, credit report, and other relevant information, demonstrating your financial responsibility and good character. Any felony within the last seven years may disqualify you.
Additionally, this position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act of 2008. Your employment will be contingent upon successful registration, compliance with the SAFE Act, and timely renewal.
