Registrar - Miami Campus

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to oversee Registrar duties at our Miami Campus, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of student records and supporting the academic community with top-notch service. 📚

Position Overview

The Registrar will play a vital role in managing student information, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations, all while fostering a student-centered environment. This role requires a high level of discretion and organizational skill.

🏆 Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data Accuracy & Security: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and confidentiality of student academic records, reports, and information retrieval.
  • Student Registration & Records: Manage student registrations, maintain comprehensive student records, and facilitate reporting of student data.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and support the registration and records staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Advisory Support: Offer guidance and assistance to the Registrar on various registration and records matters.
  • Policy & Compliance: Assist in managing adherence to state, federal, and university regulations and contribute to developing or updating policies and procedures.
  • Student Counseling: Counsel students on academic issues, registration challenges, and records concerns; collaborate with faculty or administrators when necessary.
  • Data Management: Oversee input and updates of student data and academic records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Graduation Certification: Certify undergraduate students for graduation; review and process graduation requirements for both undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Student Services & Orientation: Conduct daily attendance, provide general student services, and coordinate orientations and campus events.
  • Registrar Policies & Procedures: Educate students on Registrar policies and procedures, maintaining high levels of communication.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle clerical tasks, organize and maintain Registrar documents, records, and electronic files.
  • Communication & Reporting: Keep supervisors informed of activities; prepare correspondence, reports, and memos related to student issues.
  • Event Support: Assist with enrollment processes and special campus events.
  • Situational Handling: Display tact, judgment, and poise when dealing with diverse student situations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Campus Director and Registrar Office Director.

🎓 Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in registration, records management, or similar administrative roles.
