Overview

As an RBT, you will collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, collecting data, and helping clients reach their goals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA
• Provide patient care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions
• Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist in developing tailored care plans for each client
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with team members to optimize treatment outcomes

🎓 Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods relevant to behavioral interventions
• Effective communication skills to educate clients and families
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring
