🔎 The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our acquisition and renewal efforts within the enterprise market across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, your role involves executing a customer-centric sales approach, emphasizing new customer acquisition while managing ongoing renewal business. You will operate as an independent contributor, collaborating with sales engineering, marketing, and other teams to close deals, secure new opportunities, and meet regional sales targets.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding quotas by engaging proactively with customers and partners, demonstrating strong knowledge of enterprise database markets or extensive experience selling SaaS solutions in data management.
This role is perfect for a professional who is both ambitious and successful, eager to grow revenue through new client acquisition and renewal management.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass your Annual Sales Quota (💰 $1 million USD+)
- Identify, nurture, and close new enterprise sales opportunities
- Develop account plans for key clients to retain and expand existing revenue and renewals
- Drive growth by managing enterprise customer and partner relationships effectively
- Navigate complex sales processes with customer-centric selling and MEDDPICC methodology
- Collaborate with business development, presales, marketing, and sales teams
- Maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce.com for forecasting business opportunities
📝 Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in database or data management
- Up to 10 years of consultative sales expertise
- Track record of achieving or exceeding a $1 million USD annual sales quota
- Proven hunter mentality, persistent in closing new and expansion deals
- Strong ability to manage large enterprise opportunities and close transactional or renewal deals
- Exceptional sales acumen for complex sales cycles
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and autonomous worker
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence across all levels
- Experience selling complex solutions at senior decision-making levels
- Willing to travel within your assigned region
- Effective in remote, fast-paced work environments
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (verbal & written)
🌟 Bonus Skills & Experience
- Experience selling open source or cloud software solutions
- Familiarity with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC qualification frameworks
- Deep knowledge of the open source ecosystem, licensing models, and community engagement
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Salesloft, or similar sales tools
