The Clackamas County Clerk's Office is in search of a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team as a Recording Specialist. As a Recording Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for the public, offering expert guidance on complex procedures, processing vital records, and issuing marriage licenses. Your bilingual skills will be invaluable in delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse community, whether interacting over the phone, online, in-person, or via mail.

Your bilingual English/Spanish proficiency will enable you to provide vital services to our Spanish-speaking residents, issue marriage licenses and support wedding officiation, and actively participate in community events. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring equitable access to public records and upholding our commitment to serving Clackamas County's diverse community.In this multifaceted role, you will serve as the face of the County Clerk's Office, delivering exceptional customer service across phone, online, in-person, and mail interactions. You will be responsible for accurately processing, recording, scanning, indexing, and maintaining a range of critical documents following Oregon's stringent legal standards. This includes handling real estate records, processing OLCC liquor licenses, issuing marriage licenses, and supporting couples with wedding officiations. Additionally, you will manage fee collections, perform precise cash handling, and ensure all financial transactions are correct.

Pay And BenefitsHourly Pay Range: $22.89 - $28.81Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required for this position. An additional 5% of base compensation will be added to pay.
