Job Summary
The Spa receptionist will handle appointment scheduling, prescreen customers daily, and greet, assist, and provide directions and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Spa.
🌟 Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Opening & Closing the Spa: Review appointments and prepare the reception area for the day.
- Preparation & Inventory: Check clients’ records and ensure all supplies and equipment are ready.
- Treatment Rooms: Ensure cleanliness and stock treatment rooms for use.
- Communication & Maintenance: Monitor the communication log for updates and address any maintenance issues.
- Team Coordination: Conduct brief staff meetings to discuss schedules, client requests, and announcements.
- Setup & Checks: Prepare sales materials, set up client refreshments, unlock key areas, and check restrooms.
- Scheduling & Prescreening: Collaborate with the Operations Manager for appointment scheduling and customer prescreening.
- Closing & Clean-up: Close out sales, manage client records, and tidy the reception and waiting areas daily.
- Security & Reporting: Secure the spa and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Client Interaction: Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine their purpose; and guide or escort them accordingly.
- Communication Tasks: Answer phones, screen calls, take messages, and schedule appointments.
- Mail & Deliveries: Receive and distribute mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical and recordkeeping tasks as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
🛠️ Required Skills & Abilities
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer Service & Sales: Strong skills in client interaction and sales.
- Administrative Knowledge: Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite or similar.
- Language: Fluent in Spanish and English.
🎓 Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer service and appointment scheduling.
💪 Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

- Type: Full-time / Part-time
- Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

- Work Location: In person at San Jose, CA 95125
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to San Jose before starting work
