📋 Position Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Representative is pivotal in increasing Rosenbauer’s market share worldwide by handling customer requests for replacement products, engaging with dealers, customers, and vendors, and fostering strong, lasting relationships.
🔧 Essential Functions
- Promote aftermarket parts, kits, and upgrades by analyzing customer machinery and needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service; identify and address customer needs to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Build sustainable relationships with customers through open communication, encouraging repeat business.
- Grow aftermarket sales volume with both existing and new customers.
- Collaborate with customers and dealers to identify custom parts and coordinate with engineering and production teams.
- Expand sales of loose parts and equipment actively with customers and dealers.
- Partner with dealers to understand their customer base needs.
- Maintain documented communication with dealers and customers regularly.
- Work alongside the Aftermarket Manager to support dealer and customer needs, boosting market share.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with departments like Production and Engineering to support customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet company goals.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Knowledge, Education, & Experience
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or finance preferred.
- Minimum 1+ year of sales or customer service experience required.
- 2+ years in industrial parts sales in the automotive or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Account management experience advantageous.
- Fluency in Spanish, German, Arabic, or Hebrew is a plus.
Skills
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate professional and technical information effectively.
- Proficient in writing reports and business correspondence.
- Comfortable presenting to managers, clients, and the public.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Mathematical Skills:
- Calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages efficiently.
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MAS 500.
Abilities
- Resolve problems involving multiple variables in non-standard situations.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and ability to read specifications.
- Work professionally with customers and internal teams to achieve shared goals.
- Prioritize tasks and multitask effectively to meet deadlines.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision within a team environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe work environment.
