Job Responsibilities 🎯

• Lead product development from ideation to commercialization, maintaining hands-on involvement throughout.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to support reformulation and new product launches.
• Source new ingredients continuously to reduce product costs.
• Work跨功能团队 to meet project timelines, and determine BOM and ROI for reformulation and new products.
• Define testing criteria and equipment needs for ongoing innovation.
• Analyze testing data to evaluate product feasibility.
• Organize plant trials to ensure quality consistency for existing and new products.
• Review and approve formulations aligning with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Research labeling regulations and coordinate with QA for compliance.
• Prepare technical documentation including product specs, formulas, reports, and test plans, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Stay informed on market trends and industry developments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Manage team hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support our team and goals.

Qualifications ✅

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5–7 years of product development experience with a minimum of 2–3 years in R&D leadership within the food manufacturing industry.
• Prior experience with Asian frozen products, such as spring rolls, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients functionality, product evaluation, nutrition, manufacturing, microbiology, quality assurance, and market research.
• Proficiency in project management, including resource allocation, cost control, and scheduling.
• Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and other applicable food laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to adapt schedules based on operational needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Leadership ability to motivate, coach, and recognize team members.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 per year + performance bonus.
