Who We Are

You will be working on a product that enhances quality processes и IT systems for internal manufacturing within a major automotive client. This role involves developing software solutions that support production control systems for various components, including exterior parts and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFK). The focus is on continuous improvement and ensuring high production quality across multiple global locations. The product aims to evolve a fragmented application landscape into a unified, modular technical platform, leveraging cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture to adapt to future production needs and integrate new initiatives in electric mobility.

What You'll Be Doing

• 🤝 Collaborate with team members and customers in an agile environment to conceptualize and create stories
• 📝 Estimate and implement backlog items, ensuring adherence to project quality standards through unit tests and code reviews
• 💡 Proactively suggest technical improvements and engage in skill-building for both existing and emerging technologies
• 🛠️ Support the Operations team with development-related tasks
• 🌐 Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures as part of the service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• 🔗 Implement RESTful services for seamless component integration and communication
• ☁️ Participate in designing and developing scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions
• 📊 Utilize monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system performance and stability
• 🚀 Engage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development
• 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables
• 📡 Assist in integrating IoT devices and platforms to enhance data collection and analytics capabilities

What You'll Bring Along

• 🧑‍💻 Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• 🐍 Strong programming skills in Python
• 💾 Experience with SQL and database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• 🤖 Familiarity with embedded systems and automation technologies
• ☁️ Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, and container orchestration using Kubernetes
• 🔧 Skills in infrastructure setup, system security, backup strategies, and performance optimization
• 🔗 Proven expertise in interface development and system modernization projects
• 🛠️ Deep understanding of application and system administration, including middleware technologies like Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic
• 🎛️ Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• 📈 Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• 📌 Proficiency in agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git
• 🔄 Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and communication protocols such as MQTT and HTTP
• 🧩 Understanding of architectural setups, system interfaces, and their trade-offs
• 🧪 Ability to write unit tests and manage deployment pipelines
• 🗣️ Strong communication skills for working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• 🚗 Automotive industry experience is a plus
• 🎯 Self-motivated, structured, organized, and eager to learn
• 🆓 Ability to work independently while seeking support when needed
• 🇩🇪 Proficiency in English and German is mandatory
