Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Location: Greater Pittsburgh - on-site

Salary: $115k-$150k DOE

Requirements: BA/BS Degree, 5+ years experience in Leadership for Purchasing/Procurement Management for Manufacturing, MS Office

Position Overview

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process of goods and services for the organization. The role involves developing strategies for effective supplier management, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a consistent supply of quality products while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize supplier performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
• Prepare and maintain procurement reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years proven experience in Purchasing or Procurement management in Manufacturing
• Strong Supplier Management skills
• MS Office application, or other ERP/CRM proficiency
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
