📝 Job Description

  • 🤝 Assist in negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers, and evaluate supplier performance
  • 🔍 Perform value analysis of alternative products and suppliers
  • 📊 Develop tools and reports to support decision-making on product procurement
  • 📈 Analyze market trends and implement processes to reduce costs and risks, ensuring a high-quality, reliable, and safe supply chain to achieve lean manufacturing goals
  • 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute supply chain roadmaps aligned with company objectives
  • 👥 Assist in overseeing hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions for department staff and/or contract personnel
  • 🛠️ Perform other duties as assigned

🎓 Qualifications

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • 📅 Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain management, process improvement, project management, or strategic planning within the food manufacturing industry
  • 💡 Knowledge of accounting systems, financial analysis, budgeting, and inventory processes
  • 🤝 Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • 💻 Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Office, Google Applications, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • ⏰ Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
  • 💰 High level of cost and quality awareness with financial knowledge for cost accounting
  • 🔧 Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and quality standards
  • 🤝 Strong organizational, negotiation, and team management skills
  • 💵 Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour
