Job Description

We are seeking qualified interpreters to deliver on-site and remote consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services across NYC's five boroughs.

You would be a great fit for this position if:

• You are a self-starter capable of providing reliable and professional interpretation services.
• You reside within the NYC area.
• You can manage a flexible schedule, including traveling to clients within NYC.
• You possess excellent communication skills to establish dependable connections.

This is a part-time, hourly opportunity to support the NYC Department of Education with vital language services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Punjabi (Panjabi).
• At least 18 years of age and have U.S. work authorization.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willing to travel to all 5 boroughs of New York City.
• For remote work: Access to the Internet, a quiet workspace, and a computer/phone.
• Ability to pass a background check.
