Job Responsibilities 🎯

An interpreter's primary role is to quickly and accurately convey another individual's thoughts and intentions into a target language. This requires cultural competence and an understanding of how the message is meant to be received, all while preserving the integrity of the conversation.

Interpreters Should Also Possess The Following Traits ✅

• Ability to promptly comprehend spoken phrases and express the message concisely in the target language while preserving the original intent.
• Offer language solutions through both on-site in-person and remote interpreting sessions.
• Communicate professionally and conduct interpretation sessions effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA regulations.

Requirements 📋

• Fluency in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
• Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills to convey messages accurately.
• Experience with medical terminology.
• Prompt submission of timekeeping and administrative tasks.
• Ability to travel across multiple locations within the designated region.
• Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Availability during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with flexibility.
• Successful passing of pre-screening assessments, background checks, drug screenings, and work authorization verification.
• Willingness to obtain necessary medical clearances such as TB, MMR, Varicella immunity, and vaccinations.
