Lehigh Carbon Community College is seeking a dedicated part-time Enrollment Management Generalist to serve as a vital resource for prospective and current students, providing guidance and support throughout their college journey.

📝 Job Summary

This position acts as a key resource to help students navigate the registration process, from admission to course enrollment. The Enrollment Generalist performs clerical duties, greets visitors, and supports multiple college departments, focusing heavily on customer interaction via face-to-face, virtual, or phone contact. Reports directly to the Site Supervisor at the Donley Center.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students through admission steps and application processes, including ELL support.
  • Proctor placement tests, makeup exams, and distance learning tests.
  • Schedule testing, financial aid, admissions, and advising appointments.
  • Manage information across various software systems.
  • Stay informed on deadlines, policies, and regulations related to financial aid and registration.
  • Guide students to campus resources and create payment plans.
  • Greet visitors and prospective students, directing them appropriately.
  • Support college events like Open House, FAFSA workshops, and Summer Information Sessions.
  • Contribute to inventory management for the Cougar Cabinet program.
  • Assist faculty/staff with daily operations and college resources.
  • Update social media pages for the Donley Center.
  • Report maintenance issues and update operational manuals.
  • Perform clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent. (Foreign degrees require US equivalency reports.)

Certifications

  • Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance/Biometric Fingerprinting)

Work Experience

  • Minimum of two years of office experience handling similar responsibilities.

  • Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment with multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Office, and office equipment.
  • Ability to handle confidential student information.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, customer service, and a commitment to professional growth.

🔍 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education settings.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.

Physical & Work Environment

Possibility of standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, with vision requirements for close and distant sight. The work environment is usually moderate in noise.
