🎓 Qualifications
- Education: PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active New York State License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish (Required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in psychological assessments, diagnosis, evidence-based therapies, and treatment planning. Comfortable with hybrid/telehealth modalities.
- Soft Skills: Excellent bilingual communication skills, cultural competence, empathy, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and provide ongoing therapy to diverse patients.
- Diagnose and treat various mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver hybrid sessions, including in-person and telehealth appointments.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialists within the practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Ensure culturally competent care tailored to Spanish-speaking patients.
