Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school 🎓
  • Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required)
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Language: Must be bilingual in Spanish (Required) 🇪🇸
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and comfort with hybrid/telepsychiatry modalities
  • Soft Skills: Excellent bilingual communication, cultural competence, empathy, sound clinical judgment, and ability to work independently and in teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing patient care
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans including medication management and therapy
  • Deliver hybrid sessions: in-person and telehealth appointments
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists within the practice
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
  • Deliver culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients 🗣️
